Our Vision Our Vision at Habitat Planning is to provide the highest quality professional habitat and biodiversity management planning services to individuals or organizations. We offer efficient and predictable solutions to the complex questions regarding sustaining habitat, biodiversity, and forest harvesting anywhere in the world. Our Mission We provide honest, responsible, and reasonably-priced habitat and biodiversity management services for individuals and organizations for the maintenance of habitat or biodiversity in their woodlands, and to determine sustainable harvest levels. We have specific expertise for the Acadian Forest area, but believe that the principles of forest modeling can be applied anywhere in the world to address needs for conservation and sustainability. These services are conducted in full compliance of all applicable safety, labor, and environmental laws. We believe that a reasonable return on investment is compatible with management for various stand conditions and structures that may be essential for ecosystem function. We understand that measures of habitat and biodiversity condition must be measurable in order to be managed, and should ideally be associated with surrogates that exist in current forest inventories (for example, assumptions of crown closure using estimated softwood volume). We believe that we can effectively work remotely with landowners worldwide, and develop representative and defensible forest habitat models for our customers through information gathered from the landowners, research findings from the landowners region, and previous experience's) of staff at Habitat Planning The services that we provide to our customers will contribute positively to local, regional, and global habitat and biodiversity, while promoting sustainable use of natural resources, while providing fair and equitable compensation for our associates and employees internationally. |
